US Aircrew Aptitude Tests

OVERVIEW

Firstly - why not take a minute to read our publication and testimonials. We just published an article ‘TH JOBS' MARKET', which is written by PATS Director Jonathan Ryan, in the Australian military magazine - CONTACT in September 2009. The article illustrates the ADF pilot recruiting process, selection criteria and how to prepare yourself to join ADF. For more information, please download and read the pdf article.

PATS has developed comprehensive programs for applicants applying to become pilots in the USAF, USN, USMC, and US Army. Significant work has been put into the development of these programs over the previous six months - the training package is now an industry leader - there is not an equivalent service anywhere in the world.

We have developed comprehensive training packages for the following tests:

All aspects of the tests are covered in significant detail. Some of the components covered include:

The training program typically has around 150 questions for each of the individual components listed above. The program is a two day individual (one client one instructor) program which is conducted in Melbourne, Australia. Clients who have undertaken this program are reporting that they believe the program increased their scores by 40%. Currently the pass rate for individuals who have undertaken this training program is 100%.

We suggest you have a look at some of our example questions from the above tests in our Sample Questions section. In our view they are vastly superior to the question banks in any current test preparation books. In addition to the actual questions we also have computer based training systems which show you systematic methods techniques and shortcuts to use in problem solving.

There is some commonality in the individual components of the AFOQT, AVSAB, and AFAST and over the two days we can prepare you for one, two or all three of these tests. Therefore if you intend applying for both the USAF and USN we can structure a program to prepare you for both the AFOQT and AVSAB over the two days.

Approximately 50% of the time is allocated to building the numerical reasoning and mental arithmetic skills of clients. Many of the techniques, methods and training tutorials are based from techniques we use to prepare people to become pilots in the Australian Defence Force where our clients are achieving a 100% pass rate.

In relation to travel arrangements there are daily direct flights from the USA to Melbourne making travel here both convenient and time efficient. A course involves two days of intense work so we would suggest that you schedule travel to arrive in Melbourne at least 24 and preferably 36, hours prior to your course.

For course dates please go to Timetable and also visit our Testimonials.  The vast majority of our two day individual courses are scheduled for Monday/Tuesday or Wednesday/Thursday.

Payment can be made by Mastercard and Visa. PATS is authorized to accept credit card payment via the telephone.

We are more than happy to answer your questions but we would request that you firstly read our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) which are here.
