OVERVIEW
With significant expansion plan, Cathay Pacific is currently recruiting pilot cadetship. Now it is an ideal time to be applying for the Cathay Pacific pilot cadetship (no experience required) and Direct Entry Pilots (already experienced).
The 60-week Cadet Training program is fully funded by Cathay Pacific Airlines. The program is conducted at Flight Training Adelaide Pty Ltd in Adelaide - one of Australia's best flying schools. The course includes basic aviation knowledge, the fundamentals of visual flight, instrument flight and commercial skills, aircraft operations and so on. After passing the relevant examinations and completing actual flying hours, you will receive a Hong Kong Commercial Pilot's Licence and a Hong Kong Airline Transport Pilot's Licence. Regarding pilot direct, Cathay Pacific now put all their direct entry pilots through a maths test as part of the selection process.
PATS two day individual program fully prepares applicants applying for the above two Cathay Pacific programs. We has a strong track record of significantly increasing our candidates' aptitude test scores. Why not take a look at what our Testimonials say about their experiences with PATS training program.
SELECTION PROCESS
The flow diagram below details the highly competitive selection process used by Cathay Pacific. It is important to note that the test score will comprise a significant component of the overall score and is thus a significant factor in overall candidate ranking.
In Stage 2 and Stage 3, you will be required to arrive by 08:30am to the Flight Crew Recruitment Office which is located on 6/F Flight Training Centre, Cathay Pacific City, lantau Island, Hong Kong. Visitor pass can be collected from the Reception of the Cathay City main Building.

KEY FACTORS
Selection to Cathay Pacific program is highly competitive with only the top performers earning a place - so it is important to do as well as you can in each component of the selection process.
Cathay Pacific Cadeship Program now open to ALL nationalities
The more time you have to practice the higher your test score will be. Therefore, you will gain a higher score if you do our course earlier than later.
Although PATS course has a primary focus on preparation for the aptitude tests, advice will also be given on preparing for the interviews and group exercises. Applicants should work on the basis that they will only have one attempt at the selection process - a strong test score is critical for success.
If you are applying for MORE THAN ONE CADETSHIP, we are able to purpose design a course for you such as Jetstar/Qantas/Cathay Pacific cadetship combined course.

TESTIMONIALS
Michael Lee
Senior First Officer - Boeing 777 - Major Asian Airline
Aircraft Flown: Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777
"The PATS program assisted me immeasurably in preparing for both the aptitude tests and the interview process at my airline. I applied along with several hundred others for a place in a sponsored pilot cadetship with my airline - so competition was very tough. Attending the PATS course involved for me international travel to Melbourne so it was a serious financial commitment. The course was excellent and the instructor Mr Jonathan Ryan covered all aspects of the aptitude tests very thoroughly - providing very clear and effective techniques to tackle the different components of the aptitude tests. In my view the PATS course is the primary reason I was able to win a place on the cadetship program."
